Korea's beauty-tech market does not reward assumption. Consumers research obsessively, influencers shape purchase decisions before brands ever enter the frame, and visual standards for ad creatives are unforgiving. For Tria Beauty, a U.S. premium home-use laser device brand with proven traction in Western markets, the question was not whether Korea was a good market. It was whether Korea was ready for Tria specifically.


expand k built a structured test campaign across Meta, Kakao, and Naver to answer exactly that. Our team produced fully localised ad creatives calibrated to Korean beauty visual standards, ran Naver keyword testing across hair-removal and skincare device terms to map real search demand, and recruited beauty and lifestyle influencers to generate authentic UGC that local audiences would actually trust. Every channel was tracked through Looker Studio with continuous bid and creative optimisation throughout.

The metrics clearly tell the story. Brand reach grew by 211%, brand visibility increased by 71%, and cost efficiency nearly doubled across the campaign period. Naver confirmed high search demand for Tria's laser solutions, and CPC dropped by nearly half compared to the prior campaign cycle.
