Localised Brand Asset Production

Introduction

Cato Networks, a leading Israeli cybersecurity company specialising in SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), partnered with expand k to strengthen its Korean digital presence and increase brand awareness through localised content and targeted performance marketing on Naver.

As Cato Networks prepared to expand its footprint in Asia, the Korea-focused initiative set its aim to effectively localise digital touchpoints and utilise Naver as a strategic B2B marketing channel.

Challenges & Objectives

Cybersecurity is a highly competitive B2B sector in Korea, where brand establishment and local visibility are crucial for market penetration. Cato Networks needed a tailored approach that combined technical keyword precision, localised content strategy, and measurable ad performance.

The objectives were in threefold: to increase brand visibility through Naver content and ads, to validate audience interest via keyword insights and engagement data, and to lay the groundwork for a lasting digital performance marketing in Korea.

Activities

expand k devised a structured digital activation programme integrating keyword research, content marketing, and performance advertising. The engagement began with an extensive localisation study, mapping hundreds of high-value Korean keywords related to cybersecurity, network protection, and SASE, each evaluated for search volume and competitive density.

Our team also redesigned Cato Networks’ Naver Blog adhering to the brand’s guidelines, introducing new banners, category structures, and optimised CTAs. Over the course of the campaign, expand k strategically published localised blog articles each month, covering thought leadership topics and service introductions. All posts were adapted for Korean readability and SEO structure, then monitored and reported through Looker Studio dashboards.

Performance-wise, expand k launched and managed Naver Search Ads campaigns, including Powerlink and Brand Search placements, running several campaigns each month. Creative assets were also locally refined and deployed, and optimised daily for CTR and cost efficiency. Performance insights were provided alongside monthly analytics reports, ensuring a transparent and data-driven feedback loop.

Results

expand k's campaign successfully localised Cato Networks’ brand presence and established a strong foundation for its digital growth in Korea. The keyword research and Naver blog activities significantly improved organic search visibility, while paid search campaigns effectively captured targeted traffic within Korea’s enterprise IT segment.

Through cohesive brand localisation and data-driven optimisation, Cato Networks achieved measurable gains in awareness and engagement - marking a critical first step in expanding its footprint in the Korean cybersecurity market.
