Turning Korea’s Fitness Community into Optimum Nutrition’s Brand Advocates 💪🏼🇰🇷


In Korea’s fitness culture, credibility is mainly built inside the gym, rather than through traditional advertising. Athletes, trainers, and gym communities actively influence what products gain traction. For Optimum Nutrition, strengthening engagement meant activating the community itself rather than simply broadcasting brand messages.


expand k designed a social media activation plan that placed the fitness community at the centre of the campaign. We launched an Instagram Reels challenge inviting local fitness enthusiasts and influencers to create content featuring Optimum Nutrition products, encouraging authentic participation and peer-driven visibility. Our team handled the full campaign lifecycle - from concept development and influencer recruitment to event operations and participant engagement - working closely with Glanbia’s teams in Singapore and Korea.



The campaign quickly gained momentum. Community participants created 60+ organic posts, generating 120K+ Instagram views and strong engagement across Korea’s fitness audience.


By turning everyday gym enthusiasts into content creators, expand k helped Optimum Nutrition spark authentic brand conversations and strengthen its connection with Korea’s fitness community. 🏋️‍♀️🚀
