How We Ran doddl's Entire Korean Business, from Storefront to Show Floor 🥄🇬🇧🇰🇷
Some brands need a campaign. doddl needed a partner to run the whole operation. The British baby and toddler cutlery brand, designed to help little ones learn to eat on their own, was entering Korea with no local presence, no brand awareness, and no local assets. Korean parents research obsessively on Naver and Instagram and trust other parents above all, so winning them meant building a genuinely local brand across every touchpoint, from the online storefront to the trade show floor.
expand k built and ran that operation end to end. We set up and managed doddl's Naver Smart Store as a full commerce channel covering storefront, orders, logistics, and customer service, then drove demand through Naver Search Ads, Naver Shopping Ads, and Meta, backed by Korean keyword research that mapped over 400K+ monthly searches in the category. Around that engine we produced a full library of local content, an always-on UGC pipeline, and a gifting programme across dozens of Korean parenting creators, each tracked to sales through unique links.
The model delivered where it counts. doddl's Naver Search Ads reached a peak ROAS of 14x, and the brand went from zero local presence to an always-on operation spanning e-commerce, performance marketing, content, and creators.
Then we took doddl offline. expand k planned and ran the brand's debut at Korea's largest baby fair (BEFE) at COEX, managing the booth, hiring and training on-site staff, coordinating influencer promotion, and running show-floor offers, bringing the brand face to face with thousands of Korean parents in one weekend.
For a global consumer brand, entering Korea is never about one channel. It is about running the whole system with local credibility, online and offline. expand k gave doddl exactly that, an end-to-end Korean business built, run, and grown as if it were our own.
